GROWTH BIBLE CLASSES–Please take some time to read through the Bible studies that will be offered for adults this winter! Once you have decided on one, please sign up at the Welcome Center! Small group Bible study allows you to have opportunity to learn and ask questions, to pray with others, and to enjoy fellowship! All of these things add up to spiritual growth!! Be involved and join a class this winter! PLEASE SIGN UP TODAY so materials can be ordered!!! Classes start next Sunday!

Attention couples! Be sure to read the insert in the bulletin about the Valentine’s Dinner next month! You won’t want to miss it!!

ALL CHURCH MEMBERS are requested to remain after the morning service for a few moments to review last week’s budget proposal and then to vote on this proposal. IF YOU ARE A MEMBER, please fulfill your responsibility as such and remain after the service to help us vote on our 2012 budget.

Lastly, may I encourage each of you to join us every Wednesday night @ 7 p.m. for church-wide prayer! Without prayer, all that we do is in vain. Come as you are. Come when you can. Come ready to pray expecting God’s blessings and answers to prayer!

Happy New Year!!! Welcome to All Nations!! I hope you had a wonderful holiday week, and that you are excited about the New Year 2012!!! The New Year always causes me to reflect on the past year- my blessings, God’s goodness, my failures—and then challenges me to set some goals for the upcoming months! I pray that you will take time to evaluate your life, your relationships, and your spiritual walk with God. Take time to set some goals this year that with God’s help, you would like to accomplish! With God, all things are possible.

Be reminded that next Sunday, we will be back to a regular schedule of activities and events.

Today, you will be blessed to hear from Larry Holcomb. Please pray for Pastor Shafer as he will be speaking at Shalom Baptist Church (our sister church) in Forest Hills.

Merry Christmas!!! Welcome to All Nations!! Thank you for honoring the Lord this morning by being here! I pray that you will have a wonderful day with family and friends, and that you will give praise and glory to the Lord for His birth over 2,000 years ago! May we also rejoice in the greatest gift—the gift of eternal life- through Jesus Christ our Lord!

Just a few reminders about this coming week–

Wednesday (12/27) – Church prayer for the New Year- 7 p.m.
Next Sunday (1/1) – New Year’s Day service @ 11 a.m. – 1 hour service to start the New Year! (no Bible classes, additional ministries, or nursery) – Spanish service also @ 11 a.m.
The church office will be closed this week due to the holidays. If an emergency, please call and leave a message or email Pastor Shafer @ dshafer@allnationsbaptist.org

Good morning and welcome to All Nations!! If you are visiting with us today, please stop by the WELCOME CENTER and register your info and receive a gift from us! We are glad that you are visiting with us today! Let us know if we can help in any way!

We want to congratulate those ESL students who are graduating this morning in our service after completing their studies in our ESL course. Congratulations on your faithfulness and accomplishments! Thank you to Jovy de la Paz, Gregoria Ramos, Jean Lama, Fanny Svombos, and Edwin Hernandez for their tireless efforts in teaching and ministering to these students! Please congratulate the students this morning after the service!

Please join us next Sunday as we go “Christmas Caroling” in the subway at 10:30 a.m. We will meet at the church, travel to the Woodhaven stop near the Queens mall and join Shalom Baptist Church members in singing and passing out gospel tracts. Please speak to Pastor if interested in going!

We are continuing our series on Marriage today and our responsibility to our children as husbands and wives. Please keep your family and the families of our church in prayer!
